A Day in the Life of Me.
I wrote a post like this in January 2013, but I decided to do a bit of an updated one seeing as that one is really quite old and cringey. This is gonna be a brief of our week as I obviously cannot tell you every detail of everyday.
Weekdays
In the mornings we wake up at around about 9ish (sometimes 10 if we're being lazy!!) and get ourselves ready. A typical breakfast in our household consists of brioche, pain au chocolat and Aldi pancakes.
Then school starts. Most of my brothers and sisters have more relaxed timetables, where they just fill in the amount of time they've done on each thing, but I made myself a more strict one this year.
We basically spend a few hours doing school until 11 and then it's 'Snack Time'! (one of the best times of day, I must say!) which lasts for half an hour and then it's back to school again until around about half 1, which is lunch time. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays we have a cooked lunch (on Mondays it's made by me!). Lunch lasts until half 2 if we eat on time and then it's school until around half 3/4ish.
Then we kind of chill and/or go to our various evening groups.
That's usually the end of the day for us, except the nights are usually spent chilling and watching a film or F.R.I.E.N.D.S or something.
Weekends
So we're pretty lucky in our family and get long weekends every week.
Fridays
Friday mornings are pretty lazy, unless we're going to the church toddler group. I normally babysit because Mum and Dad go to toddler group and Jake and Joel are normally out. We spend our mornings just hanging around, normally staying in bed, reading or watching YouTube videos. The rest of the day is then spent doing chores.
Saturdays
On Saturdays we spend the mornings in bed again. I then get ready for ballet which is at 3, but I normally have loads of time to spare so I hang around and play games with the family or just find something to amuse me. When I get home from ballet at around 5 we normally watch a film or something and have tea. The evening is spent watching a film or something.
Sundays
On Sunday mornings we get up at 8 and get ready for church to leave at 9. Church starts at around 10:30 and finishes at (approx.) 12:30. We hang around for a while after church, socialising and chatting. We then get home at about 1 and either have a cooked lunch or not. The afternoon is spent relaxing, and/or playing family games. We have tea, then at around quarter to 7 us older ones go to our youth group called HydroG. That finishes at 9, so we head home then ready to sleep before the week begins again.
