Over here in Liverpool it's a dreary Autumn day, we've got a candle flickering and we probably should have the fire on as it's a bit nippy in here! We've hit the 8-month mark of being in lockdown, and honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about that, one part of me is just used to it by now, I expect nothing more and another just wants it Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-83608792634554758712020-10-28T12:42:00.000+00:002020-10-28T12:42:07.932+00:00Welcome back to the blog & Social media detoxing. Here we are again, trying to revamp this blog, giving it a breath of life! You may notice I've given it a bit of a much-needed make-over, even down to the name! I think a part of the fact I never wanted to write was because it felt a little childish, and still, the thought of all my old, hilarious, posts being on here is not the most comfortable feeling, but they'll get buried soon enough! I just felt like a having a bit of a read of my last couple of posts to remember where I was last year, and it's weird because the other day I was trying to remember what state of mind I was in last year and I honestly couldn't remember that much. I remember asking the youth leader at NewDay to pray for me, and what I asked her to pray for, but I couldn't really remember why I felt Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-69367914220196563922018-11-22T16:39:00.000+00:002018-11-22T16:39:25.430+00:00Building Confidence.Hello there! 2 posts in one day, this has literally never happened in the history of this blog! But there was just something I wanted to write about, mainly just as a little reference for me in the future.
Over the past few months I have found myself growing in confidence. I'm not really sure where it started, but it might have been after Newday (August 2018) because the 'youth leader' of the Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-9491201079350223102018-11-22T15:54:00.000+00:002018-11-22T15:54:22.954+00:00PO10 Origin StoryI know in my last post I said I'd probably write more but as you can see, I haven't. Almost 10 months have gone by and there's still been no posts! But I've decided to keep this really low pressure now, and just post when I feel the urge. I am aware that not many people read this, it's pretty much just me, but I don't mind that because I like looking back at some of the stuff on this blog, it's Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-9100511343876421342018-02-16T14:13:00.000+00:002018-02-16T14:15:51.502+00:00It's been a while......6 months to be exact. That may be the longest time I have taken away from this blog, but don't quote me on that! This time I (sort of) have a reason. Basically, I've had no motivation, I mean my only motivation at this current moment is procrastination (I mean who does want to write about pre-mixes!?) and the fact that my sisters are away so I'm really bored. Here it is now though, the rundown of my month.
The month pretty much started with a BBQ with the different churches around Liverpool, which was great fun. I only really got a picture of this cute caterpillar though.

I became a lot more confident. Before starting college I kind of just had friends. With June brought exams, summer and last days. Here is a quick rundown of my month!
We've taken a few family days out this month and I'm really enjoying it. Joel is going to Yeovil in September for a year. He's got a worship internship at a church there so he's going to be really busy. This means he won't be with us for Christmas so I'm really enjoying these last few months we have Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-77164153842297612992017-06-01T13:56:00.001+01:002017-06-01T13:56:24.214+01:00May 2017 Update
May started off with Jake' 20th birthday, so we went crazy golfing which was great fun with many banters.
That Sunday we also went for a walk in the glorious sunshine to see Dream, a sculpture in St Helens which looks really stretched but is very cool.
There were these random bits of poetry around the paths too.
I made a carrot cake from Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-69732859600107156402017-05-20T12:00:00.000+01:002017-05-20T12:00:10.401+01:00The Tattoo Part 4(You can read part 3 here)

I was staring up at the face of the person that was made for
me. I couldn’t think straight. What did this mean? I was jogged from my
daydream by the man next to me giving an obvious cough. I grabbed some food and
sat down. I had hardly eaten in days yet just then I couldn’t eat a bite. It
was like my whole life had just been flipped on it’s head. This wasAbbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-16342484323763518872017-05-13T19:46:00.000+01:002017-05-13T19:47:23.425+01:00The Tattoo Part 3

As soon as I walked through the hospital doors everything
seemed to speed up. It was like all around me was chaos and as I was just stood
in the midst of it. I was just about to faint when Jemma ran up to me and
practically dragged me to my mum’s room. I stopped just outside it, staring at
the door. I looked at Jemma.

So the days are getting longer and the weather is heating up, we are finally making our way into the summer! April was a pretty good month full of beautiful walks and meeting friends.

After another week of wandering around I’d officially
exhausted all the food and drink places in a 60-mile radius. My hopes were
slowly fading and I was exhausted. Work was getting more demanding and I was
desperate to find this soulmate. I couldn’t help thinking that maybe he was
looking for me too and that’s why I couldn’t find him. I've had almost 4 weeks of college because its been work experience time and I didn't have to do it because there was no point as I'm only doing part time so I won't complete the course anyway (it's really complicated and annoying). There have been a few great things though, like the beginning of spring, Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-45050495454984703772017-03-06T11:24:00.001+00:002017-03-06T11:24:43.415+00:00February 2017 Update
February was a packed month, but a great one. From birthdays to cats, there has been so much going on and I have many photos to prove it!!!
In cake dec we had an assessment where we had to make a Valentines cake. This was mine.
If any of you are from Cheshire, you may be aware of the AMAZING ice cream made by Snugbury's. Every year they have a giant hay sculpture near their shop. It was a stupid idea but I had to do it. I’d woken up last
week with the words ‘What can I get you’ tattooed on my arm. It was the one
thing that I did not want, someone who worked in a shop or something. I
couldn’t stand the fact that I was going to have to go about my daily life
waiting until that tattoo disappeared because there was no way I was going to
find him otherwise. Or so I thought. It actually doesn't feel like only 30 days since this year started, it's weird. This month seems to have gone on forever.
We started the year with an 'open house' and had some neighbours and people from church over. It was really lovely but they all left before midnight so we welcomed 2017 just as a family with Jake's Abbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02395554848767457324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348826493599309142.post-30973869246195085562017-01-01T00:00:00.000+00:002017-01-01T00:00:12.768+00:00Goodbye 2016, Hello 20172016. What a crazy year. Totally not what I was expecting. When I look back at the beginning of the year, I realise I was ready for change, ready for something to happen. At the time I thought it was just going to be college and finishing homeschool, but that wasn't what God planned. When it came to moving, well I basically hated it. I didn't understand why there had to be such a big change. What a year it's been! This last month has been full of festivities and I wanted to wait until the very end of the month to post this because most of December happens at the end.
So, here's a roundup of my month.
There were brisk winter walks by the river,
Christmas shopping in town,
